Award-winning broadcaster, journalist, and travel storyteller Ed Finn has been inspiring wanderlust for over 25 years. Named Travel Media Broadcaster of the Year 2025 and Travel Extra National Broadcaster of the Year 2024, Ed brings destinations to life across TV, radio, podcasts, and print.

His hit Virgin Media TV series Ed Finn’s America aired twice weekly from November 2024 to January 2025, taking viewers from Ohio and Philadelphia to New Jersey and Denver. He also hosts popular radio programmes including The Sunday Show and Travel Talk on Sunshine 106.8, plus Talking Travel with Sarah Slattery on Classic Hits FM, and is a regular travel voice on RTÉ’s Today with Claire Byrne.

Ed’s earlier TV special A Giant’s Welcome showcased Northern Ireland and was a finalist at the TravMedia UK Awards 2022. He co-created the acclaimed Travel Lounge Podcast in 2020, has written for leading newspapers and magazines, and is a proud member of the National Union of Journalists. His first press award came at the World Travel Market London 2013 for his coverage of the Czech Republic.

Whether interviewing George R.R. Martin in New Mexico, skiing the Alps, or uncovering the world’s best food and hidden gems, Ed combines sharp journalism with plenty of humour. A graduate of TUD Dublin with a Diploma in Enterprise Development, he continues to call Dublin home—when he’s not off exploring the next great story.
